Why Here?

We think this is a good site for a solar farm because:

• There is availability for us to connect into the grid locally and export the electricity.

• The site has low agricultural land quality and good access.

• It benefits from natural screening and is suitability distanced from residential properties and surrounding villages to ensure there are no significant impacts.

• There are no designated sites or protected habitats identified in the vicinity of the site.

The site is around 66 hectares, although the full area may not be developed. We undertook an extensive site search exercise within a viable distance of the proposed grid connection point to identify the most suitable site for a solar farm.
